‘Tis the season for warm and cozy drinks best enjoyed with a side of Christmas cookies! This week’s plans include carving out quality time and enjoying some holiday movies with my favorite people. @Chobani Oat makes for the CREAMIEST, most velvety HOT CHOCOLATE! Loaded with all the froth and classic toppings that we’ve come to know and love. Deliciously rich, but totally dairy-free. It’s honestly so good, even milk-lovers will love!

What you need

fine sea salt

1 pinch fine sea salt

maple syrup

1 tbsp maple syrup

Non-dairy whipped cream

1 cup Non-dairy whipped cream

cacao nibs

1 oz cacao nibs

cinnamon

½ tsp cinnamon

vanilla extract

½ tsp vanilla extract

cardamom

¼ tsp cardamom

cacao powder

1 tbsp cacao powder

dairy-free chocolate chips

1 tbsp dairy-free chocolate chips

oat milk

1 ½ cup oat milk

Instructions

Combine all ingredients (Chobani Oat drink, cacao powder, date sugar or pure maple syrup, dairy-free chocolate chips, vanilla extract, and a tiny pinch of sea salt, plus optional cardamom) in a saucepan at medium/high heat. Use a whisk to break up any clumps. Stir until smooth and warm for about ~3-4 minutes.

For the topping: Froth about 1/2 cup Chobani oat drink with 1/2 tsp of cinnamon; you could also add a bit of cardamom here! Serve your hot chocolate, top with the froth and then add some coconut whipped cream and raw cacao nibs on top.
