Gochujang & Maple Salmon Bowls
15 mins prepServes 3
Sticky, sweet, and slightly spicy salmon bites made with Gochujang, served with sticky rice and a cucumber salad (recipe for salad in cookbook). This easy dinner idea is a perfect weeknight meal.
Pat dry salmon fillets with a paper towel. Over a cutting board (with a wet towel underneath for no slipping), slice your salmon fillets into 2-inch cubes and set aside. In a medium bowl, mix all marinade ingredients together and toss the salmon cubes to coat well.
**For pan-frying:** Bring a skillet to medium-high heat and add oil or butter. Cook the salmon bites for approximately 2-3 minutes per side. Sprinkle with sesame seeds and serve.
**For baking:**
1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
2. Leave the skins on the salmon and place on a baking pan skin side down.
3. Bake for 7-8 minutes, tossing at the halfway point.
4. Don’t skip the 2-minute broil at the end to create a crisp.
