Sticky, sweet and just the right amount of garlicky— I served mine with crunchy broccoli slaw, creamy avocado, some green grapes & fresh micro greens. You start it off in pan and finish it off on broil for that crispy coating.
Preheat oven to broiler function, adjusting the oven rack to the middle position. Bring an oven-safe pan to medium-high heat and melt butter and olive oil together. Pat dry your salmon fillets using a kitchen towel and season well on both sides with sea salt, pepper, smoked paprika, and chili powder. Once the butter and olive oil are melted (but not browned), add soy sauce, sriracha, lemon or lime juice, honey, and water to the pan. Stir well and then add your salmon fillets to the pan, skin-side down if applicable. Cook for 3 minutes on the pan while constantly spooning sauce over it. Then, transfer the pan to the preheated oven and broil for approximately 5 minutes for 2-3 fillets (or 6-7 minutes for 4 fillets). Make sure to baste the salmon with plenty of sauce at least once as it broils. Garnish with sliced green onions or fresh parsley before serving. Enjoy every bite!
