Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer Brownies
20 mins prepServes 12
The BEST unapologetically fudgy brownies with a perfect crackle top, made merry with Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer decoration. This easy recipe uses all real food ingredients and can be made gluten-free, perfect for holiday baking and sharing.
Preheat oven to 350F and line an 8x8 baking pan with parchment paper.
Use a microwave-safe bowl to melt the butter. When melted, add chocolate and mix until most of it melts in the residual heat.
In a separate bowl add: sugar, flour, cocoa powder, sea salt, and baking powder. Mix well. 🌟IF you want to amp up the fudge factor- omit baking powder or reduce to 1/4 tsp. I love mine slightly cakey and with a bit of a lift.. so I add it!
In another bowl- beat 4 eggs, add vanilla and combine them with the chocolate + butter mixture. Add wet ingredients into dry ingredients bowl. Mix to combine. Add 1/4 cup of sunflower oil, mix again. Pour batter onto the pan and bake for ~40-45 mins. Allow them to cool down before slicing. I like to cut the edges off (frame) for perfect squares of brownie goodness.
